Regular Season
Each manager drafted a team of 2 centers, 4 wingers, 3 defenseman, 2 goaltenders, 1 rookie, and 1 captain. The captain must wear the "C". As opposed to recent years, managers were able to choose their captain and rookie anytime throughout the draft.

A manager scores points by how his players perform in their real life games.
For Skaters-

Assist- 3
Game Winning Goal- 2 (+5 for scoring)
Shootout Goal- 1
Penalty- 1 (per minor)
Fights- 2
Misconduct- 1
Hat trick - 8 + ( *5 for every goal within game)
Play Maker- 5 + (*3 for every Assist)
( *A player with 3 goals in one game recieves 23 points, a player with 3 assists receives 14 points, 4 goal game would be 26, 4 assist game would be 17 etc.)

Shutout-5 (*3 for win)

Playoffs
Same system of points, obviously no shootout goals. Each Manager chooses 6 forwards, 3 defenseman, 1 goalie and 1 team. Prediction points are also included per round.
